Founded by Shaun Hardie, Vineyard Counseling is a faith-informed counseling practice in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We bring together evidence-based therapy and compassionate care to help people find greater self-awareness, peace, and purpose.
Our name and approach draw inspiration from the parable of the fig tree in Luke 13:6–9: growth takes patience, nourishment, and someone willing to tend the soil. That spirit shapes the Vineyard Way—Dig, Grace, and Care.
We look beneath the surface with curiosity, make room for learning and change, and build practical habits that support what matters most. Faith can be part of that work when you want it to be.

Meet the founder
Warm, practical, and grounded in what matters.
Shaun Hardie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Indiana and the founder of Vineyard Counseling. He holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University and has spent more than a decade walking alongside people as a counselor and minister.
His collaborative, down-to-earth approach draws especially from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), helping people get unstuck and take meaningful steps toward the people and things they care about.
Shaun also serves as a pastor at Angola Assembly of God. His Christian faith shapes his perspective, and he welcomes faith into counseling when clients wish to include it.
